MidAtlantic (MADSSCi) and Southeast (SEASR) ABRF Chapters Announce June 2015 Meeting

The MidAtlantic (MADSSCi) and Southeast (SEASR) regional chapters of ABRF are hosting a joint conference at the University of Virginia, June 3-5, 2015. Registration is now OPEN.  http://madssci.abrf.org/

There will be a Pre-Conference Certificate Two Day Workshop on Business Skills for Core Directors, Managers, and Administrators given by the faculty of the Darden Business School. Registration is open for both events, however, space is limited for the Pre-Conference Workshop please register early to secure your seat! The Pre-Conference Workshop Registration fee includes two nights hotel at the Inn at Darden (innatdarden.com) and all meals for $625 per person.

Register  for both the workshop and the conference you will get a discount to the conference as well ($735 for both).

Featured conference events include:

  • Opening Keynote Speaker:Dr. Franziska Grieder, Director of the Office of Research Infrastructure Programs (which oversees the SIG program) will give the opening keynote.
  • An opening dinner reception will be held at the beautiful and scenic Kings Family Vineyards.
  • Closing Keynote Speaker: Joshua M. Pearce, author of “Open-Source Lab: How to Build Your Own Hardware and Reduce Scientific Research Costs”.
